University of North Carolina Center for Global Initiatives

To foster innovative and interdisciplinary research, the Center for Global Initiatives funds faculty working groups with up to $4,000 per year. These groups pursue a range of activities including meeting regularly to critique scholarly works, hosting visiting speakers, developing grant proposals, and embedding research into the curriculum.

The Center for Global Initiatives supports groups working on an array of topics such as:
