The Fulbright U.S. Student Program is designed to give recent B.S./B.A. graduates, master's and doctoral candidates, and young professionals and artists opportunities for personal development and international experience.
Grants (in duration of 9-12 months) are available in 140 countries worldwide.
Please review the IIE Fulbright U.S. Student Program eligibility guidelines.
If you are a currently enrolled UNC student you must apply through the Center for Global Initiatives. If you are UNC alumni and able to attend an on-campus interview in the Fall, you can also apply through the Center for Global Initiatives. The general public and alumni are eligible to apply at large, directly to the IIE.
If you are an international student interested in applying for a Fulbright, review the information on the IIE website and contact your country's Fulbright Commission.
Please access the UNC Fulbright Applicant Portal for more information.
