The provost's office maintains a list of countries where a special waiver is required or travel is barred for students under the aegis of the University.
All awardees and fellows must comply with the UNC Policy Concerning Study, Travel, and Research in Countries Under U.S. State Department Travel Warnings and U.S. Centers for Disease Control Travel Notices.
The latest State Department warnings are listed below and are automatically updated as new warnings are issued. However, please be sure to review the full list of travel warnings and alerts from both the State Department and CDC to ensure your award proposal is in compliance with the UNC Policy.
