Beth-Ann Kutchma joined the Center for Global Initiatives in July 2002 as a Program Officer. Beth-Ann manages Federal funding opportunities administered by CGI including the Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad Program and Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellowships. Additionally, Beth-Ann implements CGI's annual international  photography competition and manages the production of associated publications, including a calendar and multi-media and video content. Beth-Ann also serves as Vice President and Video Documentary Coordinator for Carolina for Kibera.

Beth-Ann graduated from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown with a degree in Terrestrial Ecology. Since graduating, Beth-Ann has held positions at the Carnegie Mellon University Career Center, the North Carolina Chapter of the Nature Conservancy and the UNC Mathematics and Science Education Network.

Beth-Ann currently lives in Durham, NC with her husband Jason where she enjoys a good rock and roll show now and then.
